My goal this winter was to find one thing I like about snow...I actually found three.1 - When it snows it is very very quite.
2 - It makes everything look like it has been dusted in powdered sugar.
3 - It's a great excuse to stay home and bake!
Crazy ice-cycles everywhere!
Notice the ice covering the side walk!...it was a nightmare just to get into my apartment. I used to chip it away with a hammer and flat-edge screwdriver. It's a great way to release tension!

Lemon cheesecake with lemon curd topping. This is one of my favorites! It's smooth and creamy and tangy and sweet!
My first attempt at orange rolls. They were a little dry but not too bad for a first!
My first attempt at scones. This was a Dorie Greenspan recipe recommended by Maria. Turned out pretty good.

I want the soft pretzel recipe!! They look yummy! I am glad you tried and liked Dorie's scones. I will make you a fan someday!
Those Scones are Amazing! I hope Maria gets that pretzel recipe, I would be the benefactor of that.
